Verde Hotel, which operates as part of the Čelebić Group, has agreed on cooperation with one of the leading tourist hotel groups in the world – the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). The cooperation agreement was signed on Monday, 22 April.

Verde Hotel will operate under the brand voco from the end of 2019, a franchise that belongs to the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), under which several well-known brands are already operating, such as: InterContinental, Regent, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Six Senses.

Apart from the voco brand, a contract has been signed in regard to a new Holiday Inn Express hotel, which is planned to be opened by mid-2020.

The contract signing event was attended by numerous guests, among whom were: the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Pavle Radulović; the Mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vuković; the Deputy Mayor of Podgorica, Časlav Vešović; the President of the Čelebić Company, Tomislav Čelebić; the Deputy Vice-Chairman for Development of Southern Europe of the InterContinental Hotels Group, Hylko Versteeg; the Regional Manager of the Intercontinental Hotels Group, Živorad Vasić; representatives of the press and others.

The significance of the world-renowned brand – the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) – being present in Montenegro is of exceptional importance for the Verde Complex and the Čelebić Group, as well as for the tourist promotion of our country.
