When you are choosing an apartment, choose a home
The first building within the City Quay complex is progressing well and has already begun to take on the appearance of a mighty, nine-storey building with a fantastic view of Gorica Hill. We are looking forward to finishing construction of the first building, which is due to be completed in March 2019.
We have already talked a lot about the City Quay project, but the fact is that the buyers and future tenants in this neighbourhood have very readily accepted our concept of uniting the natural environment, comfortable housing and affordability of residential units.
We have already highlighted this several times, and we would definitely refer to the City Quay concept as ‘nostalgic’. There is something in it that belongs to times past: from the greenery around the buildings and the shade that gathers the neighbours together, to the return to the banks of the River Morača, which the residents of Podgorica are so attached to.
In addition to the greenery and promenade, the materials that we are building into our residential buildings are also very important for the future tenants of this neighbourhood, so we will list some of the more important items to be aware of when buying a residential unit.
Façade
On the outer wall, a 10-cm-thick Styrofoam thermal insulation system has been installed. This type of façade provides an indoor climate that suits every season: warm in the winter and fresh in the summer; and in addition it provides a perfect finish for the walls and excellent resistance to the formation of cracks. The apartments that our company is building are known for being “economical” when it comes to electricity consumption, and this is, among other things, precisely because of the fantastic façade thermal insulation system (in the construction of City Quay we are working in cooperation with the renowned manufacturer Bekament).
Ceramics
The ceramic tiles that are used in the bathrooms and kitchens are first-class, and these come from the reputable manufacturers Atlas Concorde in Italy and Marazzi in Spain.
Marazzi was founded as a family company in 1935 in Sassoule, Italy. Today it is individually the world’s largest ceramic producer, with factories in Italy, Spain, Russia, the United States and Eastern Europe.
There are several types of floor and wall tiles from both manufacturers on offer, that allow you to combine and create imaginative mosaics.
Woodwork
The interior doors are sourced from Drvolik Plus, with a veneer as their final finishing. This is an FFL model, with a 3D rustic oak veneer.
Sanitary equipment
In all sanitary facilities, there is a built-in flushing cistern, produced by the renowned manufacturer Geberit, and the wash basins and lavatory bowls in our apartments are from the Selnova 3 series, by the Italian manufacturer Pozzi Ginori. Another Italian brand, Paini, provides the taps (Arena series), and the showers basins and cabins are provided by the Serbian manufacturer Favorit Šabac.
Parquet
In the living and sleeping rooms the floor is made of three-layer parquet Tarkett – brushed oak. Tarkett parquet is a 100% ecological floor, finished with Proteco lacquer, which is applied five times, making it resistant to scratches and wear. Tarkett products are known for their highly resistant surface layer.
Finally, when choosing a residential unit, stop and think: Where can I get higher quality at a price I can afford? Then the choice becomes much simpler, because when you choose our housing unit, we build a home for you.
